Fear, the great unkown
We stopped at Mcdonald's last night for a really late lunch/supper. The kids were playing in the play place and Emily was able to get Dax all the way to the top of the two story structure. When he got there though the "tube" to get from one side tothe other was mesh and he could see how high he was and he froze and turned around and came down. Now please do not hear any dissappointment becasue i want my 2 year old to be afraid of things at this point, but it showed me how crippling fear is. We allow our fears to accomplish anything great. We often times cannot pinpoint our fear, but it will stop us a nd make us go "home". The one place that we think we have isolated from anything unknown. I can no longer afford to be afraid in my life. I want everything God has planned for my family which means we must risk, so risk we shall.
This trip is part of that risk, we have left the safety of one place for the unknown of another. We are risking daily in the adventures we live, but we are gaining the rewards from those risk in memories that will never fade.
Chase the dream, live the life God's imagined....
