Reflecting
Looking over the last year I cannot decribe the ups and downs we have been through in our lives. But what I can describe is the reality I am living with today knowing that over 2000 years ago my Saviour was killed by people who thought they knew God and were trying to be what they understood God to be. I also look into the truth that Jesus chose to be wrong in the face of those people becasue he knew he was right in the sight of God. And as this story has played out my life has been changed and guided becasue of the truth and wieght of that reality. MAn what a God who would die for me even while I was his enemy. I long for life in Jesus, because there is no tomorrow with Him.

what a humble Savior we have ... to have the power to stop all His suffering and to go through it all anyway, for me.
"to be wrong in the face of those people because He knew He was right in the sight of God".... He did that for me.
sometimes i think that have been wrong in the sight of others but right to God, but the truth is that my motives are still so full of self at times, i never really know if i'm right or not, it just makes me feel better to think that -- but Jesus KNEW He was right and never said a word ---He could have even proven it to all of His mockers.
Now that's humility and resolve!
even in the face of the "cross kind of death" He was our silent Savior!

hey david. remember back in the day when i knew you and we has twizzlers and cherry coke at bible study? and you asked us question after question and we FINALLY got one right? remember when we went to seaside and it was the funnest trip of your life? and you pushed me off a rock at cannon beach and cut my foot open? remember how i burned joel mcalister for being ugly or something, and you bought me lunch like 6 months later at the route on a snow day? remember when you showed katy and talicia and cameron and i all around the auburn campus? remember how talicia and i always just chilled at your guys house [no matter where you lived], and made you guys leave so we could watch your kids for free and clean for you? oh yeah... and remember when you actually updated your blog?
