It all starts here

One of my favorite movies is Goonies, and in that movie the kids get trapped in a basement after dicovering a secret passage way. When the kids realize their only chance for escape is through the fireplace one of the characters says,"it all starts here." They began the scariest most adventurous journey of their lives and I think that is where I find myself today. We got the job at Mountain Lake and already it is a challenge and scary adventure. So we are headed in a direction that will hopefully lead us closer to God and to who he created us to be. Thanks for your prayers and we will continue to need them as we move for the 6th time in the last 8 months.

Dude, I miss all of my students in Washington. We just spent the week with 5 of them and it reminded me how much we love them and the others who didn't come. It was a strssful week for me with lots of travel as I inched closer to the unemployment line...(no word on the Pope thing yet) and doing a retreat and being broke and stuff from Christmas. But these kids still loved us and put up with our crap and hung out with us as much as they could. Thanks for coming and being patient and reminding us of who we are.

Reading the blogs of Nichole and Andy today reminded me of great relationships that I miss and want desperatly to continue. It also made me miss Justin and Katy from Blogger land and I really want to call all of you everyday, but sometimes my intentions fall short of my abilities. Thanks for letting us continue to share your lives from 3000 miles away.

So anyway Farah and I love you and miss you all and pray that God will reunite our hearts continually as y'all are our best friends and greatest stories and a part of our lives forever.
